Coastal Dune Evolution
Conducted at the University of Florida’s Wall of Wind experimental facility, Luis Zambrano-Cruzatty of the University of Maine used the Altum multispectral camera to investigate the coupled relationships between groundwater elevation and evaporation on the erodibility and evolution of coastal dunes. The aim of the project was to better identify weak spots and the effects of climate change on the stability and longevity of coastal dunes.
